Chryseobacterium scophthalmum is a Gram-negative and rod-shaped bacteria from the genus Chryseobacterium which has been isolated from the gills of a turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) in Scotland.[1][3][4][5][6] Chryseobacterium scophthalmum produces flexirubin.[7]
